Seagul 2017

During my visit to Morocco in early summer of 2016..The rooftop Riads we stayed in, made great viewing platforms for the unlikely subject of a Seagul.

I got to capture them — while they were far from crowds of tourists, that would normally tease them with bits of food.

These Gul’s were acrobats of the sky, they were great poseurs & also had social hierarchy among them.

Each day I’d invent a story or a character for them. They seemed to me — brazen, smart & blessed with great colour & contrast. The blue greys of their backs painted against that brilliant white breast & neck — all very striking.

How could I not, attempt to create my own little cast of paintings?
