Bio

My name is Paul Browne. I've always been a slave to the arts [without really knowing it],
until one day I decided I should take up the brush and attempt to be its master.

Born & raised in Oldham, North West England I could always see past the landscape of the Cotton Mill
and take advantage of the area's hilltop views. I always loved to draw, but to be taken seriously
I knew I'd have to study the craft properly. Being self taught gave me an edge and took away
the boundaries.

My subjects and collections have been based around my life & what I see -- the people and the doors I opened and the roads I've travelled along.

I am painter of light -- an impressionist of the millenium -- expressively pushing colour with oil, charcoal
& sometimes pen & ink.

I have sold art across the UK, Europe, South Africa, Australia & North America.
