Art Fairs this year 2016

Posted on | April 9, 2016 | Comments Off

It’s a big year for me this year. I’ll be showcasing my works here:

– Carlisle | Art in the Pen | 18 & 19 June
– Holmfirth | Art Week | Lost & Found Interiors | 3 to 9 July
– Thirsk | Art in the Pen | 23 & 24 July
– Skipton | Art in the Pen | 13 & 14 August
– Holmfirth | The Art Markets | 13 November

There is an ongoing body of work all year, at Lost & Found Interiors, West Yorkshire. Not only is this a great exhibition space — it’s a super collection of reclaimed & upcycled art-esq home interiors.

As it goes, I’ve been a busy painter. I’m continually working on the Way of the Pennines collection, (some of which are available at Lost&Found in Holmfirth). I’m also adding working on a slower scale with the North by Northwest collection.

There’s also another body of work in the making — based around the actual village-scapes of Saddleworth & West Yorkshire.

Get in touch if you have any questions.

It’s how I end my evenings | oil on board | 8 x 10 | £200

This is one of several new still lifes. I’m enjoying the space & light between things that do not move. Large spaces or the idea of large spaces have always compelled me.

I’m also going to add a collection of assorted comissions from over the years.

Holmfirth Art Week 2015

Posted on | July 2, 2015 | Comments Off

Starts 6th July. I’ll be showcasing 8 oils at a charming little Interior Boutique  called Lost & Found

The owner has decided to open an original art room, so I’m going to be the sacrificial lamb. There’ll be 4 pieces from the Way of the Pennine’s collection & 4 new pieces from Tales of the Terraces.

Lost & Found is located in Holmfirth centre, West Yorkshire. Check out the link above for directions & opening times.

Any Holmfirth Art week sales take a % that’s then donated to MacMillans Cancer charity.

My new body of work for Spring.

10 different oils on board, 10″ x 8″

Terraced backyards, back ally ways, cobbled streets, abandoned wheelie bins. These are all works of art in their own little way. I’ll just compose them onto a 10″ x 8″ board.

Keep your eyes on the site.

I’m also now on facebook & twitter;  /paulbrowne1977 for both platforms.
